If one has been smoking for eleven years, and now suddenly grew a violent distaste for cigarettes (something that comes with depressive episodes, alongside loss of appetite, the ability to sleep soundly and so on), chances are you are in for one hell of a ride. some people won’t stop telling me “Quit smoking, -your life’s quality will improve a thousandfold…” and so on, but that is just plain BOLLOCKS.

Right now, I am in the worst mood I’ve had for YEARS.

So if you expect me to suddenly be a happy, healthy and social person who, for some reason, shits flowers and rainbows and butterflies and unicorns (blimey, the very THOUGHT of that HURTS. what if it comes out the wrong way? what it that horn gets stuck?):

SOD OF, YOU FAIRY.

And that thing with rewards for a certain period of being off cigarettes, -let’s just say: I am depressive. Which comes with a certain ataraxia. Which, in turn, makes that whole reward thing pretty useless. Because i just don’t bloody care. So, forget about that.

(this whole thing with the unicorns, butterflies and flowers and rainbows also spawned the idea of a small (imaginary, of course) unicorn, about the size of a dachshund, running around your flat as a pet. a talking pet. which is addicted to alcohol. with a VERY FOUL MOUTH. not unlike those penguins of mine.)
